RESPITE SERVICES
RESPITE is a DDA funded program that assists individuals with disabilities while the caregiver takes a break from his or her duties.
SHORT-TERM RESPITE CARE
Our Respite Service is a short-term, temporary care provided to individuals with disabilities within or outside the home. Respite may be just a few hours or several days in length depending on the plans of the caregiver. Respite may be planned in advance or may be made available to assist in a crisis/emergency situation. We provide the following:
- Money management
- Home management
- Nutrition
- Meal Preparation
- Obtaining resources in the community
- Taking Consumers to Medical Appointments
- Parenting Skills
- Getting Involved in leisure activities
- Aspects of living on their own

Supports that enhance the individual’s opportunity for community participation and to exercise choice and control over the individual’s own life; Training and other services necessary to assist the individual in achieving and maintaining increased integration, interdependence, and productivity;
